چکیده
Theoretical analysis of the influence nanoparticles and temperature on average Nusselt (Nu) number heat transfer coefficient (HTC) during turbulent flow nanofluid in a horizontal, round tube was carried out. The Nu is function Reynolds (Re) Prandtl (Pr) number, which turn are functions thermophysical properties liquid conditions. On other hand, nanoliquids primarily nanoparticle concentration (NPC) temperature. Hence, correct determination value then HTC, needed for engineering calculations, depends accuracy determining nanofluids. In most cases, nanofluids calculated as corresponding base liquid. Therefore, calculations equally determined by reliable correlations liquids. new calculation water have been developed. results (water) water-Al2O3 use carefully selected presented. It established that even small concentrations nanoparticles, significant intensification using compared to obtained tested range.

Entropy Generation Analysis and Performance Evaluation of Turbulent Forced Convective Heat Transfer to Nanofluids
The entropy generation analysis of fully turbulent convective heat transfer to nanofluids in a circular tube is investigated numerically using the Reynolds Averaged Navier–Stokes (RANS) model. The nanofluids with particle concentration of 0%, 1%, 2%, 4% and 6% are treated as single phases of effective properties. The uniform heat flux is enforced at the tube wall. To confirm the validity of the...
متن کاملA comprehensive review of experimental investigations of forced convective heat transfer characteristics for various nanofluids
Nanofluids are suspension of nanoparticles (less than 100 nm) in the conventional base fluids. The dispersed solid metallic or non-metallic nanoparticles change the thermal properties like thermal conductivity, viscosity, specific heat, and density of the base fluid. Past studies focused on measuring the thermal properties of nanofluids. These suspended nanoparticles effectively improve the tra...
متن کاملComparison of convective heat transfer of turbulent nanofluid flow through helical and conical coiled tubes
Application of nanofluid and coiled tubes are two passive methods for increasing the heat transfer. In the present study, the turbulent flows of water and nanofluid in coiled tubes heat exchanger were numerically studied. CuO-water nanofluid containing 1 vol% copper oxide nanoparticles was used and single-phase approach was considered for nanofluid flow. The effect of different geometrical para...
متن کاملMesoscopic Simulation of Forced Convective Heat Transfer of Carreau-Yasuda Fluid Flow over an Inclined Square: Temperature-dependent Viscosity
In the current study, non-Newtonian flow pattern and heat transfer in an enclosure containing a tilted square are examined. In order to numerically simulate the problem, the mesoscopic lattice Boltzmann method is utilized. The non-Newtonian Carreau-Yasuda model is employed. It is able to adequately handle the shear-thinning case. The simulation results of flow and heat transfer have been ...
